I have managed it, 12 posts every other day throughout December in order to share with you blogmas. For the last day, I thought I would share with you the Christmas Tag! I’ve done it before and you can read the original version here, but I thought I’d give you and updated version!
1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?
I love a lot of Christmas movies and I’ve posted about a fair few over blogmas including Polar Express! I completely LOVE it as I said in this post. I also love others like Muppets Christmas Carol, Elf, Home Alone, Arthur Christmas. Honestly so many films! I’m currently finding it really hard to take part in Richard Osman’s Christmas film Olympics because I love so many of them. Round 2 was certainly the hardest film choice for me!
2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas Morning?
Christmas Morning, it’s always been Christmas morning ever since we were little. I’m pretty sure we’d get to open one present on Christmas Eve and it was sometimes like Christmas PJ’s or new PJ’s to wear to bed on a night!
3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?
A lot of my memories of Christmas are some of my favourite. Grandma would always be here for Christmas and stay over so waking up in the morning and opening our Christmas stocking’s in bed and then coming downstairs and seeing all of our presents as we walked into the living room and then opening them all and getting to see what Mum thought of her presents and stuff like that was always lovely.
4. What is your favourite festive food?
Pigs in blankets when it comes to the Christmas dinner. I love that it’s acceptable to eat sausage wrapped in bacon at Christmas because it’s amazing and just yeah!
5. What is your favourite Christmas gift?
When I was younger I can remember loving loads of my gifts but thinking back I still love my Table Top Table Football that I got. I was pretty good at it as well thinking back, I mean I used to beat everyone!
6. What is your favourite Christmas scent?
I love Christmas candles and it’s a hard decision between Mulled Wine candles or like ones with cinnamon flavouring in.
7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
In recent years, my Christmas Eve tradition has come to go Carol Singing at the local hospital and it’s lovely to go and give the patients a little bit of Christmas cheers through singing and there have been times when the patients have joined in and it’s so lovely!
8. What tops your tree?
Our little tree in the flat was topped by a red glittery star, but mum’s tree is always topped by lovely little angle!
9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
I have no idea. Like I’ve asked my Mum and everything and she can really not think of anything. I think I was always realistic about what I’d like and what I’d get so nothing really for this one. This year I’d love get an Apple Watch but I’m very realistically thinking it’s not going to happen!
10. What’s the best part about Christmas for you?
I really love the atmosphere around Christmas time. The time being spent with friends and family and just the memories being created for everyone.
And there we have it, the 12th and final blogmas! I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and enjoy it all no matter what you are doing!
