Chapter 1 in Summary

January is finally over despite how long it seemed to last. If you’ve been reading my Sunday Post’s you’ll know what I’ve been doing and loving this month. I thought I would give you a little summary of the month and what my plans are for Chapter 2.

Compared to some of the world I feel that my January has been very quiet. For me, I think that January has been a very stressful month trying to keep my resolutions for this year. Along with trying to keep on top of all of my university work, reading journals and writing dissertation stuff in order to try and keep on top of all my deadlines!

I’ve been struggling to write as many posts as I’d have liked and I’ve struggled with ideas as well. Hopefully I’ll be jumping back on the blogging band wagon and loving it as much as normal. I was thinking about what blogging means for me and I realised it’s all to do with being able to find myself relaxing via my writing on here.

Here are some of the things I got up to in January in pictures in case you’ve not seen any of my Sunday Posts:

I recently admitted that I’m a Social Media Addict.

I’ve been writing up my Fuck Budget so keep your eyes peeled for that.

Visited some of Hull’s City of Culture events and loved it.

Took part in Pub Golf pretty successfully, even managed to survive the full night.

Day tripped to Coventry a few times and enjoyed the architecture and sites.

Spent some time with my lovely rugby ladies. (My eyes are open honest!)

Made an effort to read some more books!

February is a shorter month, and if we are being honest I like to think it’s one of the easier months out of the lot. I’ve got meetings galore and hopefully blogs galore as well. February is the month of planning on makingĀ even more of an effort to be fit for John and I. Fit February as we keep saying. Clean eating and making sure we exercising as much as possible. So far it’s been going ok, we’ve been trying some different recipes which I’m planning on sharing with you towards the end of the month. We are both hoping that the results start to be visible because January was a month of trying with no visible changes but we can hope!

What are your plans for February?
