January is finally over after what feels like forever and despite being all positive and upbeat about everything I was going to do and things I was gonna make a habit it just hasn’t happened.
It started off well with healthy eating and getting into a new routine of getting out of bed, being organised, keeping on track of stuff and then suddenly stress engulfed me. I started a second job in January and whilst I was prepared for it, everything happened all at once. I had to change plans because of it and realise it wasn’t going to be as easy as I first thought it would be.
The middle section of January seemed to pick up with being suddenly having the stress relief of the gym and being able to put a bit more time and focus into that and I felt really good to start with. It’s been a few months since I was last in the gym and I can tell so much. I’ve followed loads of accounts of Instagram for motivation and inspiration so fingers crossed for a continued increase in motivation.
January however took another nose dive when my mum had to go into hospital and have emergency surgery. Oh hello stress, worry and anxiety. Thankfully she’s back home and doing well but it was a big shock and a week of living on my own (with bonus time of seeing John) made me realise how paranoid I am about every little noise. I think I’ve watched one scary film to many.
Nu Phone Hu Dis?
I have to admit the month certainly ended on a high with me upgrading my phone and completely falling in love with it. I am now the proud owner of an IPhone 8+.
Whilst it hasn’t been a good month I’ve completed my first Escape Room, had cocktails and won at Bowling so there’s some positives in there!
I’ve currently got lots of ideas for post so keep your eyes peeled for them!
I was having a conversation with someone and I dropped the “I’m fine.” Too which the reply was “You do know what fine stands for don’t you?!”
FINE = Freaking Out, Insecure, Neurotic and Emotional. Well if that didn’t sum up my month I don’t know what did.
